The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) in Bauchi State has trained the security club of the Federal Government Girls Secondary School Bauchi on some security tips, that will help them overcome security threats and in times of emergencies.

The command advocated for the need of school authorities to provide alarm gadgets, in the event of eventualities in schools, especially in Northern Nigeria, where the activities of kidnappers have become rampant.

The command had In November 2021, trained and commissioned its Female Special Squads, with the core mandate of protecting girls in boarding schools across Bauchi State.
This training, according to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Bauchi State Command, will help create more awareness among the students, with the knowledge of protecting themselves from insurgents and from being kidnapped.
