Bauchi PDP Congress: New State Chairman Solicits Collective Support Of Party Faithful

The Newly elected Peoples Democratic Party Chairman Bauchi State Chapter Pharmacist Samaila Burga has called on Party Faithful To Work together towards ensuring the party maintains its position as the ruling party in the state.

He stated this while delivering his acceptance speech at the just concluded party’s Congress held at Dr. Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu Square Bauchi State North East Nigeria.

Gathered at the Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu Square were no fewer than two thousand five hundred and Fourty nine PDP delegates across the twenty local government areas of Bauchi State led by the State Governor Bala Mohammed Represented by his Deputy Auwal Jatau to elect New State PDP Executives.

The delegates defied the afternoon rainfall to conduct the election peacefully as all the elective positions were unopose with the supervision of the Acting Chairman PDP Bauchi State Hassan Grema and the Chairman Electoral Committee Ambassador Umar Elgash as well as INEC Officials.

Upon completing the process the elected officials took their oath of office and allegiance marking the beginning of their first four years in office.

Delivering his acceptance speech the Newly Elected Bauchi State PDP Chairman Samaila Burga thanked and appreciated the party’s delegates for giving them the mandate to stir the affairs of the party urging for collective support to enable the party to succeed.

The Chairman added that his doors will remain open for constructive criticisms to enable the party succeed in all the elective positions comes 2027 elections warning that he will not allow backbiting and black mail.

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed represented by his Deputy Auwal Jatau Commended the process and congratulates the newly elected party executives calling on them to ensure justice and fairness among the Party faithful for the overall success and progress of the party.

The election that ushers in these thirty nine set of new Party officials was conducted after the tenure expiration of Hamza Akuyam led Executives in Bauchi state.
