The Bauchi State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of six suspected kidnappers who attacked Euga Village in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State on September 29, 2025, and abducted three men. With the Kidnapped victims successfully rescued unharmed.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Wakil, the command acted promptly upon receiving a report from community members. A coordinated operation was launched in collaboration with local security groups, leading to the successful tracking of the suspects to the outskirts of the village.
The joint security team engaged the kidnappers in a professional operation, resulting in the safe rescue of all three victims without injury.
According to the police statement, the rescued victims have since been reunited with their families in good health. Meanwhile, six suspects arrested in connection with the incident are in custody and will be transferred to the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Bauchi State Police Command for profiling and further investigation before being charged to court.

The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, CP Sani Aliyu, reaffirmed the command’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents. He appealed to communities across the state to remain vigilant and provide credible information that could assist the police in maintaining peace and order.
