The Bauchi State Police Command has issued a stern warning to its personnel against extortion, unlawful detention of suspects, incivility towards the public, and mishandling of community-related issues, particularly in relation to enforcing tinted glass permit directives.
The command’s spokesperson, Ahmed Wakil, disclosed this in a press statement, following a strategic meeting, convened by the Commissioner of Police, CP Sani Omolori, with senior officers.
According to the statement, the purpose of the meeting was to review the state’s security architecture, evaluate past achievements, and develop new strategies to enhance law enforcement efforts.
