Accusations and counter-accusations have emerged barely some hours after the signing of the peace accord by political parties in Bauchi, as the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, clashed at the campaign ground of the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Sadiq Baba, at the country home of the Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohamed, leading to the loss of life, and leaving many injured.
The Campaign Directorate of the PDP made the accusation while holding a press conference to make their position known about the incident.
The Bauchi Police Command had on Wednesday summoned all political parties in Bauchi, ahead of the Governorship and State Assembly Elections to sign a Peace Accord, for the peaceful conduct of the elections.

A few hours after the signing of the peace accord, the APC and PDP clashed again at the campaign rally of the APC Governorship Candidate in Duguri, Alkaleri Local Government Area, the hometown of the sitting governor of the state, Bala Mohamed.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, media team has held a Press Conference, accusing the PDP of sponsoring the attack, to disrupt their campaign.
This attack is not the first time, as the PDP is raising an alarm, accusing the APC of shooting and killing their members in two local government areas, leaving two people dead and many injured.
The Bauchi Police Command had in a press release signed by its spokesperson, Ahmed Wakil, confirmed the incident and said that an investigation is ongoing on the matter.
