Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has flagged off the Design and Construction of dual carriage roads across the four major entrances to the capital city.
Governor Mohammed said the contract which will cost the state government over N13b, will assist in decongesting vehicular movements and help to boost the commercial agricultural inputs, thereby attracting more revenue to the state when completed.
He added that the road project is aimed at opening up the state for both internal and external investors, even as the state is witnessing increase in both demography and population, due to the influx of people from the insurgency ravaged states.
Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal described the projects as life touching development, considering the hardships being faced by the people.

In his remarks, the PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, said the party leadership is in total support of what the Bauchi State governor is doing for his people.
He called on other leaders to always consider their electorates, by bringing developmental projects to them.
The Over N13b project is to be completed within 24 dry months
