Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has donated 50 million naira to victims and families of those who died in the recent accident along the Kirfi-Alkaleri highway.
The Governor made the donation during a condolence visit to Kirfi Local Government Area, where he sympathized with those injured and families of the deceased.
The governor also used the opportunity to caution residents of Kirfi, a flood-prone area, against building on waterways.

He advised community members to engage in regular desilting of drainages to allow for free flow of water during rainy season.
Speaking on behalf of the affected persons, the Chairman of Kirfi Local Government, Abdulkadir Umar, and the District Head of Kirfi, Lawan Mohammad, expressed gratitude to the governor for his prompt response and financial support.
