Bayelsa APC Primaries: Peremobowei Ebebi, Abel Ebifemowei emerge candidates

The former deputy governor of Bayelsa State, Peremobowei Ebebi and Abel Ebifemowei have emerged as the candidates of the All Progressives Congress for the Bayelsa West and Central senatorial districts respectively.

Chairman of the party’s electoral committee, Abdusalam Dahiru who declared the results of the election at the party’s state secretariat in Yenagoa after results of the one and five wards were collated.

Direct mode of election was adopted for the All Progressives Congress senatorial bye election primaries in Bayelsa state.

After the electoral exercise was concluded at various wards across the five council areas in the two central districts with high expectations, the process attained its climax at the party’s secretariat in Yenagoa with the collation and announcement of result.

The two candidates who emerged victorious at the election speak on the strength of the party.

The Bayelsa West and Central senatorial election is scheduled to hold on Saturday, October 31 this year.
