Bayelsa Development: Gov. Diri expresses commitment to complete 3 senatorial roads, others with available resources

Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa state says his administration is not in competition with anybody but only committed to improving the lot of Bayelsans with the resources available.

Governor Diri was speaking when he received leaders and Royal fathers from Southern Ijaw Council area of the state who visited to show gratitude for the show of love by the current administration to the people.

First were the youths and women of Southern Ijaw LGA who converged on the entrance to Creek Haven.

They are on a solidarity match to demonstrate gratitude to the Governor Douye Diri led administration for the show of love to the LGA for the construction of impactful projects and manpower development.

At the Governor’s conference hall were leaders and Royal fathers of the same council area who also came for the same purpose.

Governor Diri says such visits demonstrated appreciation from the people and invitation for his administration to do more.

The Governor further noted that the administration is keen to complete the three senatorial roads that will open up the rural areas of the state as well as contain the issues of kidnapping, piracy and other criminal activities.
