The Bayelsa State government and the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) have joined forces to address the pressing need for affordable housing in the state.
The collaboration was cemented during a courtesy visit by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority, Oyetunde Ojo, along with the FHA management team, to Governor Douye Diri at the Government House in Yenagoa.
Their visit was to interact with the Governor on modalities to provide low income houses for the people of Bayelsa which Diri assured was among the key priorities of his second tenure.
Oyetunji Ojo told the governor that affordable housing for Nigerians was key in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
Giving the prevailing inflation, the partnership marks a pivotal moment in the quest to provide housing solutions to the residents of Bayelsa.
