Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has warned that he will not hesitate to wield the big stick on any Commissioner who does not perform to expectation.
He also implored members of the newly constituted cabinet to key into his administration’s vision of providing service to people of the state.
Governor Diri gave the charge during the 130th meeting of his administration’s Executive Council at Government House, Yenagoa. He stated that his administration’s policies and programmes were having positive impacts on people of the state, urging the new cabinet members to make service to the state a priority.
Diri in expressing delight, noted that he was encouraged that the people of the state were attesting to the development projects, particularly the ongoing construction of the Nembe-Brass Road, and the completed Sagbama-Ekeremor Road.
