The Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri says policies and programmes of government could best be actualized when the three arms of Government in the State work in synergy for a common goal.
Senator Diri spoke shortly after signing into Law the State’s revised 2020 budget which has a total sum of N183.15bn
The state’s chief executive re-emphasized that the reduction was as a result of the negative impact of the global health pandemic on the economy.
Bayelsa State government had on Monday this week announced a reduction of the state’s budget by 24.3% of the initial N242.18bn bringing the revised version to N183.15bn.
