Bayelsa state government says it has reinstalled the three electricity towers vandalized at the Transmission Company of Nigeria Lines at Igbogene in Bayelsa State.
Commissioner for Information Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai who went for an on- the- spot assessment visit, urged electricity consumers in the state to remain calm as efforts were being intensified to restore power
It is the second time, in three weeks that the commissioner for information, Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai is visiting the damaged power facility at Igbogene where repair work is ongoing.

The commissioner is excited that the reinstallation of the three towers have been completed, remaining that of the Ahoada axis
With the reinstallation work at the Igbogene axis completed, Koku-Obiyai says the state government will extend the efforts to assist in hastening work at the Rivers state end
For now, the date of completion of work and the restoration of power in Bayelsa state is yet to be ascertained.
