January 27, 2026 has been fixed as the start of burial activities for the late Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.
Governor Douye Diri announced the schedule during the one hundred and seventy-ninth State Executive Council meeting at Government House, Yenagoa.
The programme opens with sporting events in his honour, before moving to official tributes at the State High Court and the Executive Council Chamber on January twenty-eighth and twenty-ninth.
Final interment rites will take place on January thirtieth, with a requiem mass scheduled for St. Paul Catholic Church in Ofoni, Sagbama Local Government Area.
