The Chief Justice Of Nigeria, Justice Kayode Ariwoola, wants heads of court all over the country to ensure that they remain diligent in carrying out their duties, especially as the tribunal begins sittings.
Justice Ariwoola made this known at the swearing-in of the customary court of appeal President Justice Adekunle Lawal as the substantive President of the court.

As the third substantive president of the court, Justice Lawal is expected to continue with the judicial reforms embarked upon by the National Judicial Council with respect to resolving disputes on traditional customs and practices in the Federal Capital Territory.
The swearing-in of Justice Lawal who had been in an acting capacity since 2022, was witnessed by legal minds from across various jurisdictions in the country including friends and families.
