The President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Musa Nimrod says, funding remains one of the biggest challenges to sports development in Nigeria.
Nimrod disclosed this in Kaduna, during the final training session of the National Under-21 Male And Female Beach Volleyball Teams, ahead of their departure for the Africa Championship in Morocco.

For three weeks, the National Under-21 Male And Female Beach Volleyball Teams have been in camp, working on the technical aspects of the game, in preparation for the Africa Beach Volleyball Championship in Casablanca, Morocco.
The President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Musa Nimrod, who expressed delight with the teams’ preparation, said there had been a paucity of funds.
The teams departed Kaduna for Abuja on Wednesday, where they will leave for Morocco, for the Africa Championship, commencing on August 31st.
