The 2020 WAFU B tournament initially scheduled to take place in Togo from November 18 to December 2 will now take place from December 5 -20 in Cotonou, capital of Benin Republic.
The tournament which serves as the qualifiers to the African U-20 Nations Cup in Mauritania will see the Flying Eagles compete against Ghana and Ivory Coast in group B.

The four semi-finalists at the Nations Cup will represent Africa at the FIFA U-20 World Cup billed for Indonesia from May 20 to June 12, 2021.
