The Benin Royal Family has suspended Professor Gregory Akenzua for rebelling against traditional institution.
In a press conference on Monday, secretary of the Benin Royal Family George Eweka said the suspension of professor Gregory Akenzua from the family was over an alleged act of rebellion against the Benin traditional institution.
In attendance were the Benin Royal Family of the oba of Benin.
Their mission is to let the press know about their resolution to suspend professor Gregory Akenzua from the royal family for challenging the Benin traditional institution through acts that are at variance with customs and traditions of the Benin people and the core values of the Benin Royal Family
According to the family Secretary,George Eweka, professor Gregory Akenzua allegedly violated the hierarchy of succession to the odion Ogbe position of the royal family and has been parading himself as same.
In the resolution,the Benin Royal Family says professor Gregory Akenzua remains suspended from the Benin Royal Family.
