A Benue State High Court sitting in Makurdi has granted an interim injunction restraining the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from replacing or suspending members of the Benue State Working Committee led by Augustine Agada.
The injunction also hinders the party National Executives from tempering with the four-year tenure of the members pending the determination of the Motion on Notice.
Agada has had a running battle as his position was threatened following a battle for supremacy between the Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume and the State Governor, Hyacinth Alia.
Subsequently a faction led by the former State Welfare Officer, Benjamin Omakolo as Acting Chairman emerged.
