As the manhunt for the murderers of 12 soldiers continues in earnest in Benue the nation’s food basket, critical stakeholders from the 23 local councils of the State have resolved to give security forces every support to unmask the killers.
State Governor Samuel Ortom made known the resolutions outlined in a communique at the end of deliberations which took place at the government house Makurdi.

These critical stakeholders comprising traditional, ethnic and religious leaders and security operatives are gathered at the instance of the State security council.
The aim is to discuss the very disturbing issue of insecurity.
After exhaustive deliberations stakeholders reached a 15 point resolution geared towards totally eliminating crime.
Haven adopted these far reaching resolutions it is hoped that with adequate implementation, absolute peace and security will be restored.
