Council equally approved the implementation of the consolidated medical salaries and clinical duty allowances for Staff of the State university teaching hospital and other health workers in the State.

Commissioner for Health and Human services Yanmar Ortese provides further clarification noting that the migration of health workers also referred to as the “Japa syndrome ” has cost the sector a huge shortage of manpower necessitating the implementation of the consolidated medical salaries for all health workers in the State.
