Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia has joined other Nigerians to celebrate former Head of State, Yakubu Gowon as he clocks 90 years.
A statement by the governor’s chief press Secretary, Tersoo Kula says, considering Gowon’s dedication, years of service to fatherland, as well as his clamour for unity and peace in the country, he deserves all the good wishes and accolades from Nigerians and people all over the world on his special day.

While calling on leaders in the country to tap from the wisdom of Gowon and his peers for ensuring the country stays together, Governor Alia urged all Nigerians to unite and work diligently towards creating a resilient nation that future generations will be proud of.
He wished the nonagenarian good health, more strength and God’s protection as he continues to positively impact lives.
