Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has threatened to sack any appointee of his government whose performance falls below expectation.
Governor Ortom made his feelings known at Government House Makurdi while addressing political officeholders.

He said they are free to resign if they are not prepared to improve on their performance.
The governor’s comments come on the heels of his dissatisfaction with the state’s internal revenue service’s performance.
