Following the discovery of CACOVID Palliatives donated to Benue State in far away Kano, the Benue State government has threatened to sanction anyone found culpable in the diversion of the items after investigation and other related ones.
State Government officials who spoke to newsmen after the State executive council meeting equally spoke on a related investigation being carried out in Oju local government of Benue State.
The news of palliatives meant for Benue people discovered in Kano State has taken the front burner of discussion at this very unsettling period.

State commissioner for information, culture and tourism Ngunan Addingi as well as the Special Adviser to the Governor on security matters Paul Hembah gave an insight into the investigation.
A similar issue of diversion of palliatives was reported to have taken place in Oju local government where a committee was constituted to look into the matter.
Secretary to the State Government Tony Ijohor who heads the committee warned that anyone found culpable will be sanctioned.
