The Executive Chairman of Guma Local Government Council and ALGON Chairman in Benue State Maurice Orwough, has placed a temporary and immediate ban on all political activities within Guma Local Government Area.
Orwough in a statement by his Personal Assistant Communication and Strategy Ernest Tortiv stated that the worsening insecurity in Guma requires the undivided attention and collective efforts of all stakeholders, stressing that political engagements must be suspended until the security situation is brought under control.

The Chairman called for unity and cooperation from all sons and daughters of Guma to confront and resolve the persistent crisis that continues to hinder the peace, safety, and development of the local government.
