Benue PDP/APC members trade words over killings in the State

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State has accused the State Government of cow rustling and security breaches eliciting reprisal attacks on its innocent residents.

An allegation swiftly refuted by the State Governor Samuel Ortom who says it is politics taken to too far.

Renewed killings in parts of Benue State north central Nigeria particularly Guma, Gwer East and Makurdi Local council by suspected herders have continued to generate a reaction.

The main opposition party in the State the All Progressives Congress, APC, had earlier indicted the State Government for cattle rustling in parts of Naka Gwer west which led to the repraisal attacks by the said attackers.

An allegation that was immediately refuted by the chief executive as well as his media aide.
