Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia has expressed his administration’s confidence in the ability of Benue Women to deliver on any responsibility assigned to them.
Governor Alia stated this at the Old Banquet Hall of the Benue State Government House Makurdi while swearing in Serumun Aber as the first female Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Serumun Aber’s apponintment, according to the Chief Executive of the State, is a testament to the confidence his administration has in the ability of Benue women.
He called on public servants and stakeholders to accord the new SSG the needed support to succeed.
In her speech, the new SSG promised to pilot the affairs of her office diligently and in line with the administration’s blue print.
Serumun Aber replaces Joseph Alkali who resigned on Monday.
