The Benue State House of Assembly has confirmed Governor Hyacinth Alia’s nominee Terlumun Tombowua for appointment as Chairman, Benue State Independent Electoral Commission (BSIEC).
A statement by the Chief press Secretary to Speaker Terver Zamber reveals that the Governor had in a correspondence to the Assembly which was read on the floor of the house during Plenary by the Speaker sought the confirmation of Terlumun Tombowua as the new chairman of BSIEC.
Tombowua, hails from Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.
Aso during Plenary, the house summoned the Chairman, Local Government Service Commission to appear before the leadership of the house on Monday, to update the leadership on the appointment process.
