The State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists,NUJ, Benue State Council, Comrade Victoria Asher is dead.
A statement by the State Secretary Moses Akarhan said she died this morning at about 8:00am at the Federal Medical Centre, Makurdi after a caesarean sectio.

Moses Akarhan added that Council will hold an emergency Congress in the days ahead for further deliberation over the demise of Comrade Victoria Asher.
