It was business as usual as residents of Makurdi went about their normal activities, without any signs of civil action.
Security operatives who were seen stationed at duty posts, had an easy day as the State capital remained calm and peaceful.
Commissioner of Police, Yabanet Steve had assured any group wishing to exercise their constitutional rights to protest, of adequate protection, but there was none anywhere in Benue State.
Reports from across other major towns of the State indicate that the places witnessed normal daily activities, without any protests in sight.
