The Benue State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, says it would not tolerate substandard jobs or delay in the execution of projects by contractors.
The Executive Chairman of the Board, Grace Adagba issued the warning in Makurdi during the official opening of contract bids for Matching grants of the Universal Basic Education Commission UBEC and State Universal Basic Education Board SUBEB.
Declaring open the bidding process, Commissioner for Education and Knowledge Management, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Agbo Ochekpe said the bid opening exercise is a demonstration of the Ministry’s resolve to implement projects and programmes with transparenly and with adherence to the highest standards.
The ceremony was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Federal Government through UBEC and Benue State Govemment by jointly releasing funds to enable Benue SUBEB execute school projects.
