The Federal Government has assured that all due processes are being applied at all stages in the ongoing trial of Binance and one of its chief Executives trading in cryptocurrency.
The Minister of information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris in a statement said the defendant has recieved consular access and due care in line with normal Diplomatic protocols but will answer to severe charges of financial Crimes against the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Minister says the Government Believes Binance Operations in Nigeria are part of a broader international pattern whose turn over in Nigeria in 2023 is put at over twenty Billion Dollars fuelling currency speculation and cost of living crisis.
The Government says it is hopeful that the Courts will dispense Justice accordingly in the case which has been adjourned to June 20,2034.
