Electricity consumers in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa States have been alerted of a possible blackout, due to the strike embarked upon by electricity workers, at the Transmission Company of Nigeria, (TCN).
This is contained in a press release issued by the Head If Corporate Communication, Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO, Ibrahim Shawai, on behalf of the management.
He said the ongoing strike has already caused interruption of power supply across its franchise areas, as all feeders supplying power have been dropped.
The management says concerned stakeholders are working to ensure speedy resolution, and for power to be restored as soon as possible.
