Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State, has confirmed that Boko Haram elements have hoisted their flag in Kaure in Shiroro Local Government Area of the state.
Governor Bello confirmed this while speaking to Internally Displaced Persons, from communities in Shiroro and Munya Local Government Areas, hosted at the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Primary School in Minna.
The Governor expressed concern at the development, which had forced thousands of families homeless in different parts of the state.

He stressed the need for collective effort, as his administration will not relent, in its efforts to support security agencies in the state to fight criminal elements.
