World-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a serious road accident Early Monday along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway near Makun, Ogun State.
The crash resulted in the death of two individuals.
According to eyewitnesses and confirmed by the FRSC Ogun State Command Public Education Officer, Superintendent Route Commander (SRC) Odunsi-Oyewole Afolabi David, Joshua’s vehicle, a Lexus Jeep with the license plate KRD 850 HN, collided with a stationary truck.
Preliminary reports indicate the two fatalities occurred at the scene.
Anthony Joshua was rescued from the wreckage and sustained only minor injuries, as confirmed by rescue officials who responded to the incident.
The accident occurred near a Fuel Station.
The FRSC is investigating the cause of the crash
