The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 57,145 following 189 new infections reported by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in 15 states across the country.
The states with new Covid-19 cases are Lagos-70; Plateau-37; FCT-24; Kaduna-19; Rivers-12; Oyo-5 and Ogun-4. Ebonyi, Katsina, Ondo and Osun States have 3 each; Imo and Yobe-2 each; Ekiti and Nasarawa-1 each.
There are 126 Covid-19 patients who have recovered from the infection in Nigeria bringing the total number of successfully treated cases to 48,431.

Meanwhile, another Covid-19 fatality has been recorded in Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the national death toll put at 1,095.
