In the last 24 hours, 185 persons have been discharged across treatment centers in Nigeria after recovering from Covid-19 infection. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases to 44,337.
At least 11 states have recorded 132 new Covid-19 infections with the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now 56,388.
The states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-52; Gombe-27; Plateau-17; Kwara-10; Enugu and Ogun-9 each; Katsina-3; Ekiti-2; Bauchi, Osun and Rivers-1 each.
There is 1 more person who died in the last 24 hours of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria with national death toll at 1,083.
