189 Covid-19 patients discharged as 17 states record 156 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has released new data on the Covid-19 situation in the country with 189 patients discharged across Nigeria.

This brings the total number of successfully treated cases to 42,816.

There are 17 states that have recorded 156 new Covid-19 infections with the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now 54,743

Lagos leads with 36 new Covid-19 cases; FCT-35; Oyo-29; Kaduna-10; Abia-9; Osun, Ogun and Enugu-5 each

Others are Rivers-4; Nasarawa, Ekiti, and Imo-3 each; Edo, Kwara, Katsina, and Plateau-2 each, Niger-1

Meanwhile, 4 persons have die of Covid-19 related complications in last 24 hours in Nigeria with national death toll now 1,051
