Edo State Government has imposed a 24-hour curfew across the 18 local government areas of the state until further notice after hoodlums hijacked the #EndSARS protest on Monday to unleash violence.

The hoodlums with dangerous weapons have blocked the exit and entry into the ever busy Benin-Agbor-Asaba Expressway.

Reports say they have taken over the #EndSARS protest in the state and burnt down three police stations. The police stations burnt include Ugbekun and Idogbo in Ikpoba-Okha LGA.
