No fewer than 24 states including the Federal Capital Territory have reported 321 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 52,548.
The 321 new Covid-19 cases are reported in Lagos-98; FCT-34; Kaduna-30; Nasarawa-25; Benue-21; Plateau-17; Rivers-15; Adamawa and Ogun-11 each.
The others are in Enugu-9; Edo-8; Delta and Ekiti-7 each; Gombe-5; Ebonyi-4; Bayelsa, Kano and Ondo-3 each; Cross River Imo, Kebbi and Niger-2 each; Abia and Bauchi-1 each.
Meanwhile, 312 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria with the total number of successfully treated cases now 39,257.
And 2 new Covid-19 fatalities were also recorded in the last 24 hours with the national death toll now 1,004.
