The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 595 new Covid-19 infections in 24 states. This brings the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country to 34,858.
The new Covid-19 infections are reported in Lagos-156; Ondo-95; Rivers-53; Abia-43; Oyo-38; Enugu-29; Edo-24; FCT-23; Kaduna-20; Akwa Ibom, Anambra-l and Osun-17 each.
Ogun State has recorded 14 new Covid-19 cases; Kano-13; Imo-11; Delta-6; Ekiti-5; Gombe and Plateau-4 each; Cross River-2; Adamawa, Bauchi, Jigawa and Yobe-1 each.

Nigeria has in the last 24 hours discharged 293 Covid-19 patients bringing the total number of successfully treated cases in the country to 14,292.
Meanwhile the death toll has risen to 769 following 9 new Covid-19 fatalities reported across the federation.
