Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC reports that 4,253 Covid-19 patients are the latest to recover from the infection across Nigeria.
Out of this figure, at least 4,161 of the patients were treated in Lagos State under the community-based case management protocols of the NCDC. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases in the country to 56,557.
Meanwhile, 14 states have recorded 113 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours with the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now 61,307.
The states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-37; Kaduna-16; Ogun and Plateau-11 each; Taraba-8; Rivers-7; FCT-6; Enugu and Niger-4 each; Edo-3; Delta and Imo-2 each; Benue and Kano-1 each.
