Over seventy Armed Bandits have stormed Kagara town, Headquarters of Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.
The bandits who were well armed with different weapons stormed the town on over thirty motorcycles with each conveying at least two persons
According to an eyewitness in an interview with AIT correspondent, he said the bandits had collected some motorcycles from some youths they met on their way
He noted that the people abandoned what they were doing and had to seek refuge and run for their lives.
Gun shots by the bandits were heard in the course of the interview with the Eyewitness
As at the time of filling this report,the bandits were robbing a first generation bank in the town
The Police Public Relations Officer, Niger State Command, ASP Wasiu Abiodun, could not be reached for comments on the bandits attack.

His phone was switched off when AIT Correspondent called him for his reaction.
