Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has tested negative for Coronavirus and consequently discharged after 14 days in isolation for treatment of the infection.
Governor Mohammed who addressed newsmen after leaving the isolation facility had earlier posted the news of his negative test results on social media.

He thanked God and all those who stood by him and the State in prayers during his treatment and recovery process.
He is the second Governor to be discharged from Isolation Centre after his Oyo State counterpart Seyi Makinde. The Kaduna State Governor Nasir El Rufai who was the first Governor to test positive for the virus is still undergoing treatment.
