The Bauchi State Government has ordered the immediate total lockdown of 3 local government areas in the State following 44 new cases of the Coronavirus infection.
The affected local government areas are Katagum, Giade and Zaki in Bauchi North Senatorial Distrct.
Governor Bala Mohammed who announced the lockdown said it is to take effect from 6pm on Tuesday to enable health workers embark on contact tracing to curb the spread of the virus.
