There are unconfirmed reports of an attack on Garkida town in Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State by suspected Boko Haram terrorists.
A fleeing resident says the insurgents thronged the town through the main road in the late afternoon forcing residents to scamper for safety to the surrounding mountains.
As at the time of filing this report, there is yet to be an official confirmation of the attack from authorities.
