Taiga, is a former director, Legal Services in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, and alleged to have been a key actor in the fraudulent Gas Supply and Processing Agreement.
She was granted bail in the sum of 30 million Naira with two sureties in like sum, who must have landed property in Abuja.
She is also required to deposit her international passport with the court.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,had on 7th October re-arraigned Taiga,before Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court, Abuja on a nine count amended charges,on accepting bribes and other related crimes.
