Covid-19 death toll in Nigeria jumps to over 400

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 8 new Covid-19 fatalities in the country with the death toll now 407.

There are also over 5,000 successfully treated Covid-19 patients in Nigeria following the discharge of 210 more patients. The total number of discharged Covid-19 patients in the country is now 5,101.

Meanwhile, 510 new Covid-19 infections have been recorded in 25 states as total number of cases in Nigeria now stands at 15,682

The new cases recorded include in Lagos-195, FCT-50, Kano-42, Kaduna-27, Edo-26, Oyo-22, Imo-21, Gombe-17, Benue and Enugu-12 each, Delta and Anambra-11 each.

Other new infections are in Ebonyi-10; Nasarawa and Ogun-9; Bauchi-8; Kebbi-4; Akwa Ibom, Jigawa and Katsina-3; Yobe and Borno-2 each; Kwara and Ondo-1 each
