We have confirmation that the Emir of Zazzau, Dr. Shehu Idris is dead.
The Emir who has his traditional stool in Zaria died at the 44 Army Reference Hospital Kaduna.
Though the Kaduna State Government and the Zazzau Emirate Council are yet to issue an official statement, the ongoing Congress of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Kaduna observed a minute silence in honour of the deceased traditional ruler.
