Enugu leads 11 states as Nigeria records 195 new Covid-19 cases

There are 195 new Covid-19 infections in Nigeria reported in 11 states with the total number of confirmed cases in the country now 57,437.

The highest number of daily Covid-19 infections are in Enugu State that has 51 new cases. The other infections are in Gombe-40; Lagos-39; Plateau-23; FCT-15; Rivers-12; Kaduna-8; Ondo-3; Bauchi-2; Edo and Ogun-1 each.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC is also reporting that 105 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases in the country to 48,674.

Meanwhile, 2 more persons have died of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria as the national death toll gets to 1,100.
